When you're using heated beauty wax, you have to be really careful not to drop it anywhere. If you do happen to drop a little on the countertop, it will harden and can be REALLY difficult to remove. Do NOT scratch at it, you will only ruin the surface. Instead apply heat. Use a cigarette lighter or some small source, of course. The wax will start to melt and you can wipe it up with a warm, wet washcloth. Do not overheat and be careful!
