A wooden skewer or satay stick is an invaluable cleaning tool with many uses. I use one all the time for getting dirt out of the corners and edges of sinks, benches, windowframes, etc. Anywhere the cloth, or even the toothbrush won't reach. The dirt sticks onto the wooden pointed end and the wood won't scratch the surface being cleaned.
