If you have a scratch on a glass or metal surface that you would like to hide then this recipe will make an effective surface filler for metal or glass surfaces.
To make ¼ pint/150ml
- 2 floz/60ml glycerin
- 4 tablespoons jeweler's rouge
- 2fl oz/60ml water
Place the ingredients in a medium-size glass or plastic jar and mix into a smooth paste. Apply the mixture to scratched areas with a clean cloth and rub in. Rinse with clean water. To fill deeper scratches, repeat the process several times. Store in a tightly covered jar.
